How to Learn prefix Chemistry
How to Learn prefix ChemistryIf you are a budding chemist, you should be acquainted with prefix chemistry. Chemists understand that one's knowledge of chemistry is like an excellent guide to his or her other areas of expertise. A person who master the sciences thoroughly will know what to do and when to do it. He or she can not only turn out excellent recipes but will also have something to say about the cosmetics, perfume, or even the detergents.A chemist knows how to look into the nature of life. The cells of an organism or even of a plant function in such a way that no single type of living thing can survive without another. So, when you start to learn science, you may want to study organic chemistry, or perhaps you would like to delve deeper into biological chemistry. Whatever you do, make sure you study prefix chemistry so that you will become a professional chemist. A chemist's knowledge about chemistry has immense application in many of the branches of knowledge.A chemist is ab le to develop different products from chemicals and biological processes. These products include paints, chemicals, plastics, and the like. Even a very unskilled chemist can get to know all this in the lab. It is however important to understand how these chemicals interact and combine. This is where prefix chemistry comes in. Scientists undertake research to understand the nature of these interaction. For example, people may be well versed in genetics or biochemistry, yet if they do not have a basic knowledge about science, they are totally hopeless. As a consequence, even people who have scientific degrees or have studied these subjects can not be relied upon to accurately interpret a test result or reveal a disease. These people are then of no use to the scientific community, and indeed there would be nobody who will trust them. With all this in mind, it is necessary for one to seek as much information as possible about chemistry. A person has to know as much about science as possibl e. Of course, it would be far better if he or she could learn to apply the knowledge in the field he or she is studying.

5 Tips for Writing Your First Resume
5 Tips for Writing Your First Resume Searching for your first post-college job can be both exhilarating and intimidating. One key to getting your foot in the door is to understand what it takes to compose an effective resume. Most resumes follow a set structure and include information such as an objective, level of education, and work experience. The challenge comes when deciphering how to organize this information and understanding how much detail to include. Before hitting the job market, ensure your resume sets you up for success. Here are tips for writing your first resume: Tips for the resume objective The objective section of a resume is an introduction that briefly explains who you are and what position youre seeking. It appears at the top of your resume, below your name and contact information. Your objective should reflect your goals for the specific job youre pursuing. For example: To obtain employment as assistant to the CEO at [company name], leveraging my strong organizational skills and my education in the field of business management. Keep your objective brief and make sure it says something valuable. An objective thats too generic wont set you apart from other applicants. Try to use words that reflect the companys job posting whenever possible. An alternative is to include a summary section, which is an elevator pitch of sortsa similar statement that sums up what you offer as a job candidate. [RELATED: 4 Tactics for Landing Your Dream Job] Tips for the resume education section In this section, its important to be honest and straightforward. If you have multiple degrees, list the most recent or advanced first. You dont need to list your high school diploma if you have completed a college degree. Include the following information: School name and location Years attended, including the month and year of graduation Your degree Aside from the basics, you can include your college GPA if you finished in good academic standing (generally a 3.0 or higher), and if you deem it relevant information for a potential employer to know. Some fields will be interested in this number, while others may not be. Research your particular career and look at the job posting to see if GPA is applicable. Tips for the resume work history section One common mistake is thinking you need to include every job youve ever had on your resume. As a recent college graduate, you may have some positions in your work history that are more relevant than others. You may have been a lifeguard for three summers in high school, for example, but that experience is likely less important than the summer you spent as an intern in your desired field. Use your space wisely and highlight only your relevant experience. For each position, list the employer and the dates you worked there, followed by a few brief points summarizing your most important achievements in that role. Focus on areas where you accomplished something measurable; this will give the hiring manager a better idea of what you can contribute. Also, list these points in order of what may be most applicable to the job youre applying to. For instance, if youre sending in your resume for a social media manager position, list tasks relevant to that first in your bulleted list and all others after. [RELATED: How to Continue Learning After College] Tips for the resume skills summary This is where you can highlight skills that set you apartwhether they are hard skills, such as computer programming, or soft skills, like strong leadership or communication. Be as specific as possible, but dont oversell or exaggerate. You can include technical skills, such as knowledge of specific software or equipment, and also list experience with foreign languages. However, this is not a place for purely personal hobbies or interests, unless they directly relate to the position youre seeking. Tips for awards, honors, and other relevant resume information This last section is optional to include in your resume. If youve received awards or honors during college that are relevant to your field, include the name of the award and the year received. Additionally, you may choose to include relevant coursework you completed in college. Limit this, though, to just a few courses that specifically illustrate why you possess the background for this job listing. You may also consider mentioning a capstone or senior project if its relevant to the job. Lastly, if you held leadership roles while in school that are applicable to this position, you may include the titles and years as well. [RELATED: 4 Lessons Recent Graduates Should Carry From College] When putting together your post-college resume, dont forget to proofread. Also, research resumes in your particular field, in case theres any other information specific to your profession that must be included. Limit your resume to one page, focusing only on important information that will help you stand out from other applicants. Any topics you want to know more about? Let us know! Hands-On Learning More Effective, Hands Down - Heart Math Tutoring
Hands-On Learning More Effective, Hands Down - Heart Math Tutoring Hands-On Learning More Effective, Hands Down Hands-On Learning More Effective, Hands Down March 11, 2015 A recent post on Parent Toolkit echoes HEART Tutorings curriculum that encourages students to learn through hands-on experience with the numbers rather than memorizing procedures or facts. HEART uses all seven tips that Parent Toolkit suggests. One of our favorites on the list: Play math games and point out math relationships in real life. For instance, while your child is racing toy cars, you might show him that each car has 4 tires and ask how he could quickly figure out how many tires are on all 6 cars without counting each one. Then, ask him how he came to his solution and make math something that you talk about together every day.â Our Combinations to 10 and Multiplication Fluency units give students hands-on experience with parts of numbers, eventually leading them to know the basic facts within three seconds. This approach is more effective than forcing students to collect memorized, arbitrary knowledge that has no concrete meaning to them, says Emily Elliott, HEART Tutorings Executive Director. 4 Great Ways to Organize Your Time in High School
4 Great Ways to Organize Your Time in High School San Diego Tutoring Tips: 4 Great Ways to Organize Your Time in High School Once in high school students will have a lot more things to do than they did as a middle school student. 9th graders will have a big adjustment in the amount of homework they have and whats expected of them from the teacher and, once they get into the college prep years, students will also be working on advanced placement courses and test prep. Time management becomes more and more important as students progress towards graduation and can also make a big difference in a students stress level. Check out these four great ways students can organize their time during High School book your high school San Diego private tutor today. 1. Make a plan for the month. Itâs important for students to know whats going on in the next 30 days in regards to due dates and assignments. Students might have one week where they think they dont have anything going on at all but forgot that they have two papers due in three weeks time. They could have easily spent their free afternoons writing outlines and formulating a thesis if they had looked ahead in their syllabus. By sitting down and getting organized at the beginning of each month, students can better organize and start preparing for long-term due dates, something that will become especially important once they start taking AP classes (Irvine AP Tutor Tips: 4 Ways to Prep for AP Exams). 2. Prioritize Itâs also important for high school students to start prioritizing the amount of time they spend on a particular assignment and which one gets done first. Students can start by looking at due dates and finish assignments with earlier due dates first. They should also look at their assignments regarding points. For instance, if an extra credit assignment is worth two points and a research paper is worth 20, students are encouraged to work on the research paper first. Students can also think about which assignments they can complete when their mind is a little bit tired and which ones will require undivided focus. 3. Take adequate breaks Part of planning a study session is scheduling time for breaks. Students donât work efficiently if they are mentally fatigued, hungry, or have not yet had a chance to exercise. Students may also need mental breaks when switching from one subject to another. It can be a challenge to switch from an algebra assignment to analyzing literature without taking a few minutes to shake off one subject and prepare for the other. Students should avoid spending time online during their break because this is still draining their brain of valuable concentration. Rather, students should get up from their desk and walk around, get some fresh air, a healthy snack, or a drink of water. 4. Avoid unnecessary distractions When students are distracted, they tend to draw out their study sessions much longer than is necessary. A student who is 100% focused on the task at hand might get an assignment done in an hour while another student working on the same assignment might take an hour and a half or two hours if they are distracted by social media, their phones, friends, or excessive noise. The biggest distraction for students these days is social media. High school students are encouraged to stay off Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter when they are working on important assignments. If students have pop-up notifications, they should turn these off before sitting down to complete an important assignment. Some students can work in a group and still maintain a high level of focus, but others may need to work solo when it comes to challenging homework.
